NJ Advance Media baseball writer Randy Miller is pictured left running the Sausage Race in the Bratwurst costume (No. 1) during the Yankees-Brewers game in Milwaukee on Saturday night. In the bottom right photo, Miller is between two other Yankees reporters who participated, MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch (pictured right) as the Polish Sausage (No. 2) and The Athletic’s Chris Kirschner (pictured left) as the Italian Sausage (No. 3). A local high school sprinter won the race as the Chorizo (No. 5) and a female Brewers employee ran as the Hot Dog (No. 4).

MILWAUKEE — The Yankees were back on the field getting ready for the sixth inning of Saturday night’s game when a door in the left-field wall at American Family Field opened.

It was time for one of the best parts of Milwaukee Brewers’ home games, the wildly popular Sausage Race.
