Methods Machine Tools has introduced the MV-1000L, a 3-axis CNC vertical machining centre that features 19 hand-scraped surfaces, alpha-series FANUC motors, and a Big-Plus dual-contact spindle.
Powered by 20-HP, 12,000-RPM, 40-taper spindle, this machine is suitable for both roughing and finishing work.
It is controlled by a FANUC 0i-MF Plus control with 200-block look-head, 2 MB of part program storage, macro B, remote manual pulse generator, and a thermal compensation system.
