ANCA AIMS streamlines the entire tool manufacturing process

ANCA will showcase AIMS (Anca Integrated Manufacturing System), an Industry 4.0 factorywide integration at IMTS 2022. Rather than separating workflow into many different elements of design, blank preparation, grinding, laser marking, washing, packing, and shipment, the system streamlines the entire tool manufacturing process and complementary technologies.

An interactive and fully operating cell will be on display, highlighting the main modules of the system: an AutoSet job preparation station, AutoLine for pallet and tool transfer, and AutoFetch robot for material transfer between processes.

The system is designed to respond to common challenges in the tool manufacturing sector, including labour cost and availability, safety, and production efficiencies. It maximizes grinders’ productivity and improves overall equipment effectiveness while integrating with ERP systems to streamline workflows, according to the company.

Each system can be tailored to an individual customer’s needs using modules. It can scale from a software-based monitoring system to a fully automated manufacturing cell.
